剧情介绍
An Episcopal Bishop, Henry Brougham, has been working for months on the plans for an elaborate new cathedral which he hopes will be paid for primarily by a wealthy, stubborn widow. He is losing sight of his family and of why he became a churchman in the first place. Enter Dudley, an angel sent to help him. Dudley does help everyone he meets, but not necessarily in the way they would have preferred. With the exception of Henry, everyone loves him, but Henry begins to believe that Dudley is there to replace him, both at work and in his family's affections, as Christmas approaches.

让加里•格兰特演天使，这本身就可以当喜剧来看，温和的笑容让圣诞节有了迷人的气氛，有些任性地暗助凡人，摆出一副等着他们目瞪口呆的姿态，实在是天使的趣味所在，但利用职务之便勾搭良家妇女就有些过头了，好在自控力还不赖，溜冰的场景十分美妙。

看开头的确以为两位男主的角色反了，但很快就反应过来了，万人迷天使。滑冰一看就是替身，化妆都不十分像；弹竖琴的手也是替身。
