娇妻摆乌龙

　　Henrietta Robins works out of her home and her husband Pete drives a cab to try to support her. When Pete gets a tip from one of his fellow drivers that a deal will be made by the Americans and the Soviets over pork bellies, he decides to invest in the market, but needs to $3000 to invest. Henrietta then goes to extreme lengths to get the money by dealing with first a loan shark, then a madame, then the mob and finally cattle rustlers. All this in the name of love. 彼得．耶茨执导的此片是一部凭空架构的闹剧。讲述一名纽约出租车司机的太太背着丈夫借高利贷投资期货，因到期不能还钱而被黑社会操纵，当货物一样地将她转卖，闹出了不少乌龙笑话。本片写出了一点小市民为钱奔波的可怜和无奈。剧情拍得轻松，但精采笑料很少，而且下半部的追逐高潮明显模仿《爱的大追踪》的剧情。该片尽管有巴巴拉．斯特蕾桑、迈克尔．萨雷金等名角的出阵，亦无助于提高影片的可欣赏性。
